About Tim

In his first woodwork lesson at school Tim fell in love with wood and woodworking, it has dominated his life since that time. On leaving school he went for an interview at a highly recommended joinery company, he was accepted as an apprentice joiner serving a three year apprenticeship. During this time he attended Tottenham College where he studied his City & Guilds and Institute of Carpenters exams which he passed with distinctions.

Over forty years have passed since Tim started in the woodworking trade, during this time he has managed to extend his experience in many different aspects, by working together with many different specialists including cabinet makers and antique renovators.

As you can see from browsing the website Tim has a wide diversity of woodworking experience from storage systems, fitted bathrooms and bedrooms, cabinets, fitted windows, doors, furniture, stairs and other more specialised items. He has also made bars for golf clubs, village halls and cricket clubs. These are all made to measure by Tim in his workshop.

The passion Tim has for wood and woodworking has never waned and this is important to him, in making sure that each piece of work is finished to a high standard.
